Baby Benjamin’s Newborn Session | Cleveland Newborn Photographer
Baby Benjamin was just a tiny 7 pound 9 ounce bundle of joy, and from the very beginning, he was an absolute dream to photograph. Not only did he arrive with the most beautiful head of dark hair, but he also settled in so peacefully, which made his entire session feel calm, relaxed, and effortless.
Before the session, his mom mentioned how much she loved my teddy bear setups as well as the soft blue star details. Because of that, we thoughtfully incorporated both elements throughout his session. As a result, every setup felt personal while still keeping that timeless and classic newborn style.
We began with some of the cozier, more neutral looks, and then gradually introduced those soft blue tones that she had been drawn to. In particular, the blue star details added just the right amount of sweetness without overwhelming Benjamin’s natural features. At the same time, the teddy bear touches brought in a sense of warmth and nostalgia, which always photographs so beautifully.
Meanwhile, Benjamin truly made my job easy. He was such a good baby for me, settling into each pose so naturally. Because he was so content, we were able to move through a variety of looks while still keeping the session relaxed and baby-led, which is always my priority.
In the end, this session came together so beautifully. Not only did we capture those tiny details from his very first days, but we also created a collection of images that feel both meaningful and timeless for his family to enjoy for years to come.
There is something so special about these early days, and sessions like Benjamin’s are such a sweet reminder of just how quickly this stage passes.
