Welcoming Baby Siena | Cleveland Area Newborn Photographer
When sweet Siena arrived at my Avon studio for her newborn session, she was just two weeks old and absolutely perfect. Her family wanted to document this special season with a complete family portrait experience, including parents, grandparents, big sister Sofia, and of course plenty of beautiful newborn portraits of Siena herself.
As a Cleveland newborn photographer, I always encourage families to include siblings and even grandparents when possible. These portraits quickly become treasured family heirlooms and capture relationships that change so quickly during a baby’s first year.
One of the sweetest parts of Siena’s session was watching her big sister Sofia interact with her. At only a year and a half old, Sofia is still a baby herself, but she was completely smitten with her new little sister. She was incredibly gentle, affectionate, and so proud to be a big sister. The sibling portraits we created together are some of my favorite images from the session.
We began with family portraits while everyone was fresh and happy. Including grandparents added another meaningful layer to the session and allowed us to document three generations together. These images are especially valuable because they become more meaningful with every passing year.
After family and sibling portraits, we focused on Siena’s individual newborn portraits. At just two weeks old, she was at the perfect age for those sleepy, curled-up poses that parents love. She settled beautifully and allowed us to create a wonderful variety of images using soft textures, delicate details, and timeless styling.
Before the session ended, we also captured a few portraits of Sofia by herself. The arrival of a new sibling is a major milestone for older brothers and sisters, and I always love documenting this chapter of their lives as well. These portraits help tell the complete story of a growing family.
It was such a joy meeting this wonderful family and celebrating Siena’s arrival. From the tender sibling moments to the three-generation family portraits, every image reflects the love surrounding this sweet little girl.
If you are expecting and looking for a Cleveland newborn photographer, I recommend reserving your newborn session during your second trimester to ensure availability around your due date. Newborn sessions are typically photographed within the first two weeks after birth when babies are still sleepy and flexible for those classic newborn portraits.
I would love to help you document this unforgettable season for your family. You can view more info on newborn sessions here: NEWBORN SESSIONS
