There are some sessions that feel extra special—and Lizzy’s senior session was truly one of them.
I’ve been photographing Lizzy since she was just a baby, so getting to capture her senior portraits felt like such a full circle moment. Watching her grow over the years and then seeing her step into this exciting new chapter of life was incredibly meaningful—not just as her photographer, but as someone who has been lucky enough to witness pieces of her story along the way.
For Lizzy’s session, it only felt right to incorporate something her family loves so much which is the beach and Lake Erie. We spent part of her session down by the water, where the light, the breeze, and the peacefulness of the lake created the most beautiful backdrop. It was relaxed, natural, and completely her.
Lizzy was an absolute joy to photograph. She is so sweet, easygoing, and full of quiet confidence. Being at her session didn’t feel like work, it felt like spending time with family, like photographing a niece or a lifelong family friend. Those are always the sessions that mean the most.
There were so many little moments throughout the evening that reminded me just how long I’ve known her and how many milestones her family has trusted me to capture. It’s something I never take for granted.
Lizzy, it has been such an honor to photograph you over the years. I’m so excited for everything ahead of you and all the amazing things your future holds.
