What a joy it was to celebrate Baby Michael’s “golden” birthday here in the studio! Can you believe this sweet little one is already ONE? Time flies when you’re surrounded by giggles, curiosity, and all the wonder that comes with a first birthday!

Michael’s mama had a lovely vision for his cake smash session: a woodsy theme with just a hint of gold. A perfect blend of rustic charm and sparkle! We brought it to life with soft earthy tones, wooden elements, and a beautiful cake that perfectly matched the vibe. The touch of gold added just the right amount of shine, making Michael’s big day feel extra special.

From the moment he arrived, I could tell Michael was going to be a delight. He’s a bundle of energy – giggly, rambunctious, and full of smiles. He was constantly exploring the set with his curious eyes and didn’t miss a moment to show off that joyful grin of his. It was impossible not to get caught up in his contagious energy!

Michael’s family recently moved to Cleveland from Iowa, and I was so honored that they found me to capture these precious memories. As a photographer, it’s always so heartwarming to be part of someone’s journey, especially when they’re starting a new chapter in a new city. Creating these first family memories together was such an honor, and I’m so grateful they chose me to be part of this milestone.

Watching Michael’s personality shine through during the session was such a treat. His curious nature and infectious giggle made the day even more fun, and I just know his family will treasure these photos for years to come.
