Remember the maternity session from a couple of posts ago? Where here they are! Welcome to the world Astrid and Emil!

Those sweet little faces came in for their newborn session when they were just two and half weeks old. They were so tiny and precious. Mom and Dad were definitely in love with their perfect duo. Just like their parents they were impressive models for their session!

You may wonder if it’s more difficult to photograph twins at a newborn session. In spite of there being two babies I find newborn twins to be easier! Maybe it’s because they have each other to comfort. How special to be born with a close friend. The only time they fussed even a little is when I was doing their individual photos. Whereas when they were together they were as happy as two peas in a pod!

As always I wanted to make this session as easy and simple for parents. I plan out all the props and backdrops before the session and parents just have to walk in with their bundles of joys! I take care of everything! Once the babies are fed you can leave it up to me to capture all the beautiful details of your new little loves.

The Experience

Most of all I want my busy parents to come away from their session with beautiful tangible heirloom artwork to pass down to their children. Over my 22 years of experience I’ve designed hundreds of albums that will be passed down for generations. My goal is to make each experience as stress-free as possible.

I am so grateful to have been chosen to capture these beautiful memories and turn these newborns photos into something special for another family! <3
