Newborn adoptions stories like Caroline’s bring me so much joy. The topic of adoption is very near and dear to my heart. It’s one of those amazing things that touches the lives of every single person involved. Caroline’s Momma said that this was the most beautiful blessing and gift they could ask for. Hearts are full and grateful for this baby girl. They knew the birth Mom’s decision was so incredibly selfless. It was about 20 months ago that they started their adoption application. There is no question that there is so much anxiety waiting to get that call. But the call came–MATCHED! Their day had come and they could not have been more excited. Their parenting journey was about to begin!

Of course I was so grateful for the opportunity of capture the very first professional portraits of this perfect new family! As you can see, Caroline has the most gorgeous and delicate features. I could see they had already formed a close bond to their baby girl. They were in this together and Caroline was worth the wait!
