Even in the best case scenarios, being pregnant, having a baby and caring for that newborn/baby for the first year is pretty exhausting! Add in there having twins and already having a toddler at home and you are in for some extreme physical and mental fatigue. Personally, I had some difficult pregnancies so I know what a tole it can take. I had extreme morning sickness, like the ALL DAY LONG for nine months kind. There are lots of women out there that deal with high risk pregnancies, bed rest, and loads of other complications. It’s an amazing time but it comes at a price to a woman’s physical and emotional state. It’s totally worth it but it can be tough. That’s why when my client asked me if I could do a Mommy and Me session for her and her twins (that were about to turn one), I was more than happy to create these portraits for her. She mentioned to me wanting to feel pretty and strong for a second, which in my opinion, she already was! I wanted to make sure she saw that beauty for herself. There’s nothing better than making someone feel beautiful!
