Mermaid Photo Session,

We are living our best life here at KCP! Making dreams come true under the sea! I truly can’t think of a more magical 10th birthday gift than to become a real mermaid! At least that was Emma’s birthday wish and I was more than happy to make that dream come true!

In fact, Emma has been practicing to be a mermaid for several years now. She has become a pro with her Fin Fun mermaid tail! It was truly amazing to see! We started off going to Rocky River Beach for some out-of-the-water photos. Lake Erie looked just like the ocean that day. The waves were amazing!

Under the Sea

Next, we headed underwater where Emma really shined! Have you ever laughed underwater? Well…I did that day! I was so happy to see Emma in her element. We really and truly had a ball that afternoon. And if I’m being honest, this was a dream of mine as well. I’ve been obsessed with underwater photography since I was about her age. In fact, one of my first cameras was a Minolta Weathermatic (bright yellow) scuba camera. I loved that camera!

Under the sea we created some magic. Emma was in her element–she was meant to be a mermaid! I can’t think of a more perfect birthday gift than to become a mermaid for a day! Happy 10th birthday Emma! Can’t wait for our next adventure!
