Hudson’s Daddy is an Amherst Firefighter so we thought it would be fun to do a few photos with him in his Dad’s helmet. Dad is clearly smitten already with his sweet little guy. It’s always great to see that love expressed in photos. Coincidentally, I photographed another Amherst Firefighter at a newborn session several years ago. These men and woman are so brave. Hero’s for sure!
This little guy was just 6 pounds at birth. He was such a good baby and even gave me a few little smiles. I love when moms and dads want to get in a few photos. After bringing home a new baby I know parents don’t always feel up to getting in front of the camera. I know how tired and sleep deprived it is to be a new parent. What an honor it is for me to capture a family’s very first portrait as a new family. You will never regret taking those images!
When Hudson’s Mom first reached out to me she mentioned that their house was very beachy. I wanted to keep his session somewhat neutral with some blues and grey’s thrown in the mix. Here’s a little preview of Hudson’s newborn session…
If you are thinking about scheduling a maternity or newborn session? It is never too early! Maternity sessions take place between 32-36 weeks. Newborn sessions take place 7-14 days after birth. I recommend scheduling your sessions in your second trimester because my schedule fills up quickly! I always try to accommodate last minute sessions too! To ensure your appointments with me please send me a message!
