Avon Lake Cake Smash Photographer

Parker was recently back in the studio for his one-year cake smash session, and it’s hard to believe it’s already been a whole year since we captured his newborn photos! Time really does fly when you’re having fun, and watching Parker grow has been such a joy!

Since his newborn session, Parker has changed so much. Back then, he was a sleepy little bundle, and now he’s transformed into a happy, energetic one-year-old—with a huge personality to match! Before we dove into the cake smash fun, we began the session with a special setup. We incorporated stars and a moon to recreate a scene from his newborn shoot, creating a sweet visual connection between then and now. Parker lit up the set with his big smiles and that little tongue sticking out—seriously too cute!

Next, it was time for the cake smash! Parker’s mom requested a bright and cheerful setup with a pendant banner and balloons in classic primary colors. The result was super festive and perfectly suited to Parker’s vibrant energy. As soon as we placed the cake in front of him, he didn’t hesitate—he literally dove in face first! It was such a hilarious moment, and we all shared a good laugh.

To wrap things up, we moved on to a warm bath to help clean up and add one more fun element to the session. As expected, Parker loved it! He splashed and played, clearly in his happy place. Ending the session this way always brings out more smiles and makes for some of the sweetest photos.

It goes without saying, it’s incredibly special to be part of these milestone moments. Watching Parker grow from a tiny newborn to a cake-smashing toddler has been such a privilege. I can’t wait to see what adventures are ahead for him!
