Gabriella was in the studio for her newborn photo session! It feels like yesterday that we were taking her big brother Bryson’s newborn and baby’s first year portraits! I was floored to see how big he’s gotten and what a handsome young man he’s turned into. He’s a total charmer and, oh boy, does he LOVE his new baby sister!

Just like when big brother came in for his newborn session, Dad brought in his firefighting gear! I’m so grateful for our first responders! Of course we had to incorporate some of his gear into the session. Even though Gabriella had different plans, we were able to get a few shots of her in her Daddy’s helmet.

Did I mention Gabriella’s plans? She planned to stay awake for her entire newborn session! haha! Clearly she didn’t succeed! They don’t call me the baby whisper for nothing! Without a doubt she put up a fight to go to sleep. She’s going to be a feisty one! But in the end, I won, and we got some of those beautiful sleepy newborn photos that her Mama was hoping for.

I am so honored get to know these amazing families that I work with. And I cannot wait to see them again soon!
