Turning one is kind of a big deal right? I think it is. It’s the first of what will hopefully be many many more birthdays, first taste of cake, first birthday party. For me it was a time to reflect over the past year and how much my baby had changed (by leaps and bounds). There is no other time that a child will go through as many changes as the first year so I think it’s a time to capture and remember all the tiny details that will soon be a thing of the past. It was bitter sweet for me as I’m sure it is for a lot of parents. I’m so grateful that parents choose me to capture those moments that will last forever in photos.
