There are some families who become so much more than clients over the years, and Daniel’s family is one of those families for me.

I’ve been photographing Daniel since he was a baby, and I’ve also had the joy of photographing his older sister, Leah, since she was little. A few years ago, I had the honor of photographing Leah’s senior portraits, and now somehow it was Daniel’s turn!

Watching these kids grow up in front of my camera has been such a special part of being a photographer. There’s something incredibly meaningful about getting to document a family through so many different seasons of life—from those first baby photos all the way to senior year.

Saint Ignatius High School Senior Photos

Daniel is graduating from Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland, where he has spent his high school years playing baseball. And from everything I’ve heard, he’s quite the pitcher!

Senior year goes by incredibly fast, and these photographs become a wonderful way to remember not only what they looked like, but who they were at this age. Their interests, their personality, and the things that mattered to them.

Cleveland Senior Photography That Tells Their Story

When I photograph seniors, I want their session to be more than simply a collection of traditional senior pictures. Whether we’re photographing a senior boy, a senior girl, an athlete, an artist, or someone who isn’t quite sure what they want yet, I love creating a session that feels uniquely theirs.

Daniel was such a natural in front of the camera, which made his Cleveland senior portrait session so much fun. And after photographing him for so many years, I loved seeing the confident young man he has become.

Of course, photographing longtime clients can be a little emotional for me, too. You blink, and suddenly the baby you’ve photographed is graduating from high school!

From Baby Photos to Senior Portraits

One of my favorite parts of being a Cleveland senior photographer is getting to photograph families over the years. There is something incredibly special about seeing the progression from newborn and childhood portraits to senior year.

I’ve photographed Daniel and Leah through so many stages, and getting to photograph both of their senior years is something I will always treasure.

This family has brought so much fun and laughter to our sessions over the years, and I feel incredibly honored that they have trusted me to document so many of their memories.

And now, Mom is getting ready for an empty nest!

I know she’s probably feeling a little sad about that next chapter, but knowing this family, I have a feeling she won’t be waiting too long for visitors. I’m guessing Daniel and Leah will always find plenty of reasons to come home. ❤️

Congratulations, Daniel! It has been such a joy watching you grow up, and I can’t wait to see where life takes you next. Wishing you an amazing senior year, a great baseball season, and all the best for what comes after Saint Ignatius!
